Our people - Peter Roscrow, Director and Owner

Peter Roscrow Peter founded Acme in 2009 following a long and successful career at Close Brothers Group plc over 18 years.

 

A chartered accountant by training Peter emigrated to the UK from Australia in 1988 and quickly scotched the initial suggestion that he had been deported...


His career at Close began in 1991 when he become the youngest director of a group company. In the first three years he worked on 28 prospectus issues which raised £350 million from retail investors (mainly through Independent Financial Advisers).

From 1997 he created a specialist property fund management team, which at its peak had £1billion under management in a variety of commercial and residential funds. In 2006, Peter was appointed Chief Investment Officer of the Property division of Close.

Prior to joining Close, Peter worked at Chancery PLC as a corporate finance manager having left KPMG Peat Marwick Hungerfords in Australia after 8 years service in their small business tax and accounting division in Melbourne.

In his spare time Peter is an avid record collector and DJ. He spends much of his time in Paris and is a fan of modern art (read frustrated artist).
